Horn

In the municipality of Horn TG, a new development with apartments and commercial spaces is to be built on the Raduner site. Contaminated sites are located on the western part of the area, which are currently undergoing preliminary remediation work.

The subsoil is heated to over 100 degrees Celsius using heating elements to evaporate the CHCs. Numerous boreholes are required for the installation of these heating elements. For buildings currently in use, the boreholes are drilled at an angle and the structures are stabilized beforehand. According to the report, three of these will be demolished in advance. These buildings in use are monitored internally and externally using total stations. A total station is also used in a Denner branch, measuring its targets outside of business hours. Additionally, a hydrostatic leveling system is being used in a “sensitive” building.
