The existing retirement center Breitlen will be supplemented and renewed by a new building. Due to the subsoil (Nagelfluh) and the therefore more difficult rock excavation (blasting), increased vibrations are expected.
OLIG AG was commissioned by the client for the precautionary as-built surveys (crack logs) as well as the vibration measurements during the two excavation and rock removal phases. The continuous vibration measurements can be used during blasting to assess whether the resulting vibrations are as expected or whether the procedure needs to be adjusted.
Furthermore, a unified constraint-free construction fix point network will be set up for the various contractors on site for the staking out.
